Out on a limb that's big enough
I am going to go out on a limb here-- I believe that in order to enjoy life you have to really get into it, and sometimes that includes taking risks. If you are like me, you may like to take them slowly, a step at a time, with thoughtful pauses. Or you may just sprint ahead.
One way or another, you may find yourself out on the proverbial limb: even though it is holding you up at the moment, you aren't quite sure if it will continue to hold you, or where the next step is.
This may be especially true for new or small nonprofit organizations. You have a vision.You didn't start your organization because you were good at fundraising, probably, but because you really had something you wanted to get done and you decided that you would give it a try. You may be flying by the seat of your pants.
Finances are one of the things that support our lives, along with passion. If you find yourself feeling that you are out on a limb and that limb may not be quite big enough to hold you, or to do all that you want to do, then FundRaiser can help. For many years, there was a growth-path gap between FundRaiser Basic and FundRaiser Select. Some organizations needed more than Basic but less than Select. Now, there is a program that fills that space-- Spark. Spark is designed to fill the needs of small or new organizations who need more than Basic; or who have Basic and want to take the next step.
Spark can be used online or installed, and includes the membership module. The membership module is a big step forward from Basic in helping to increase the number of loyal and regularly contributing donors.
