I think the key attraction of owning our home for me is the fact that I can do whatever I want with it. If I want purple and green walls I can have them (well if I can talk my husband into it, that is). One of the first things we did after buying the house was remove the door between the kitchen and the bathroom as it made the kitchen basically a hallway to the bathroom. One must walk through the bedroom to get to the bath now, but I felt that is more than made up for by the increased counter space I will be able to add.

 

We took space out of an already tiny bedroom to put in a laundry closet. But, for us, a large bedroom is not necessary as we only use it for sleeping. We were happy to give up that space for the convenience of being able to do laundry at home. Others may not feel this way and might have gone a different route. Perhaps they would have put a small office in that space, or a larger closet.

Wouldn’t it be great if you could customize your FundRaiser software just like a home? After all, you own it. Well the good news is you can.

There is a wonderful feature called a Custom Page in FundRaiser Select and Professional. You can copy almost anything from the FundRaiser tabs and put it on the Custom Page. Perhaps you’d like to see gift and membership information together, or maybe you’d like to see all a donor’s category codes and gifts. The Custom Page will allow you to do that. You can also use the Custom Page to create a "profile view" for your donors with all of the most-relevant information on one screen; you can even save several different Custom Pages and use them as needed. So go ahead... start remodeling!
