Dress Up Your Letters With Graphics

Bold, bright graphics catch your donor’s eye and make him or her want to read the correspondence. Putting your logo on the letter provides additional organization recognition. No matter your reason for wanting to include graphics in your letter, you want to make sure that your images enhance your message.

FundRaiser Software allows you to dress up your letter with a photograph or other special image. Your picture needs to be in a recognized image format (such as .bmp, .jpg, .png, or .gif). If your computer reads the picture as an image then there’s a good chance it’s already in a supported format.

Next, think about how you want to format it. Are you looking to align it to the left or right of your text, having the words wrap around the picture? Or do you want it in line with the text?

Once you have placed your picture in the letter, then you can finish writing the letter. Don’t forget to save your work.

Using a picture file is a great way to have a “signature” on your letter. Sign your signature on a blank piece of paper, scan it into the computer, and use it as an image file. (You may want to crop the picture so it contains just the signature.) Then, insert it right after the letter’s closing.

FundRaiser makes creating eye-catching correspondence easy with a few clicks of a mouse. Signatures, images, even logos and letterhead, all can dress up your letters. And that’s going to catch the attention of your donors.
