The Power of Volunteer Reports

When it comes to keeping track of your volunteers there are several important pieces of information it’s helpful to know at a glance. Who are your volunteers? When did they work? How many hours your volunteers have worked and how much have they saved your organization over the course of a year?

Within FundRaiser the Volunteers Module comes with several built-in reports to help you with all of that data analysis and more. To make the most out of the volunteer reports, it’s best to think about how you organize your volunteers, such as into groups or teams. What projects do you have your volunteers complete? Are there tasks which often are done together or by the same people? Our group and team reports will help condense this information into an easy to read format and allow you to see the impact of your volunteers in a more meaningful way.

Reports listing hours by volunteer are also helpful, especially in cases where your volunteers may receive credit from a school or employer in regards to the volunteer hours they work. As an organization, you may also wish to recognize volunteers for working a certain number of hours, and these reports make it easy for you to do so.

Another use for volunteer reports would be to include the information in an annual summary. Your supporters may be interested in knowing how much money volunteers have saved the organization over the course of the year, as well as how many volunteers an organization has or how many hours they worked. Yearly summary reports provide this information while protecting the individual information about your volunteers.
