What We Plan To Do Today to Celebrate Happiness Happens Day

Every year for more than 2 decades, FundRaiser staff get a day off at the beginning of August to celebrate Happiness Happens Day. In the tradition of the founders of FundRaiser, Gene and Marcy Weinbeck, at least once a month, the company has a three-day holiday weekend. In August, when the US has no official holiday, Happiness Happens Day creates that 3-day weekend. The week before Happiness Happens Day, it was fun to speculate about what each one of us might do to celebrate. Here's what we intend... 

Autumn Shirley, CEO- I'm going to visit Crystal Bridges Art Museum. I was there last month and I want to go again. I loved the Chihuly Glass Exhibit. 

Jonathan Smith, Lead Support Technician-- Dipping my toe in Gulf of Mexico. We take a vacation every year at this time, and only do what we want... like eat crab legs until we don't want any more. 

Joshua Shirley, CFO- I'll be fiddling with electronics at Ozarks Community Television (OCTV) where I just took the volunteer of Technical Director. 

Mary Lenker, Lead Trainer - I am going to enjoy the beautiful weather and hopefully get some outdoor projects done. 

Raymond Carson, Support Technician- I'm going to relax and watch some shows, like DC's Legends of Tomorrow... I love super hero's. 

Sasha Daucus, Director of Social Media - I'm going to be on my way to visit my family in Colorado. I'll arrive by evening for dinner with my Aunt Sally in Arvada. 

Tamara Lovan- I'm going to be spending some family time, and hanging out with the kids before they go to school
