Quick Start Tips for FundRaiser

So you’ve downloaded an evaluation trial of our software or setup an online trail, and you’ve opened the program. Now what? Or maybe you’ve stepped into a new position and need to get up and running quickly. Whichever the case, here are some tips for getting started quickly with FundRaiser software.

First, if you are working with a trial copy, don’t be afraid to experiment. The sample data is already in the program for you to work with. Feel free to change the data, add gifts, etc. When you are ready to use the program with your data, it’s simple to remove the sample data.

As a FundRaiser customer, we offer you a variety of training courses. (See our schedule by clicking Support, then Training above.) The Overview course is an excellent way to see not just how to enter names and gifts into fundraiser, but also see where other classes may be helpful and receive a tour of the program.

Next, focus on only those tasks that you need to do. FundRaiser is an extensive program; there are lots of ways you can use it to manage your donors and gain additional information about them. There’s also plenty of time to learn about those additional features.

And finally, ask for help. We’re here for you. Our support team can be reached by mail or phone. Don’t hesitate to ask questions or reach out if there’s a function that you’d like to do. We gladly will help.

The most important way to get started quickly is to dive in.
